Here's how we blow out our eggs. We use the Blas-Fix egg blower, which leaves just one small hole. Many thanks to Daisy, hand-model and craftswoman extraordinaire:

Start by puncturing a hole with the special hole-poking tool.

Insert the plunger bellows into the open hole.....

...turn the egg upside down and begin squeezing the bellows. The egg white will start to ooze out...

...followed by the yolks.

When the egg has been emptied, rinse off the outside shell.

Then rinse the plunger tool.

Rinse out the inside of the egg with water.

The finished product!! The egg can now be put aside for drying, and the dish contents can be fried up for breakfast.
