Grass-fed lamb
- Yearling Suffolk-breed lambs, raised entirely on pasture.
- "Grass-fed" means our lambs eat what nature intended for them to
eat. Simple, isn't it?
- Grass-fed meat is low in fat and high in conjugated linoleic
acids (CLAs), which are valued for their cancer-preventing and
antioxidant qualities.
for more info about grass-fed meat.)
- Our lamb is superbly tasty and tender, great for a special
occasion or every day enjoyment.
- We
sell half- or whole lambs (aka a "share") at $8.00/lb. packaged
weight. Halves average 18 - 25 lbs., wholes twice that.
Short on freezer
space? "Share a share" with a friend!
- We
also sell whole or half
carcasses by prearrangement, $5/lb., 25 - 30 lbs. per half. Live
animals are $2.25/lb. "on the hoof". We ask for a deposit of $75 per
whole, $45 per
half. If you've missed the early deadline, call us before October 31
and ask about availability.
- Individual cuts are available, see
price sheet.
